Taichung Convention Center

I could not even comprehend this image or design when I first Laid eyes on it. This convention center design by MAD, is definately one of innovation. I have never seen the volcanoe shape used like this. The structure uses a solar eco-skin that give it a venetian blind looking surface. This gives the convention center even more intrigue, because every way that one would look at it, the volcanoes would be in different placement and one would be able to see different thing through the venetian blind surface. I love it! I would like to try and see how this concept could be incorporated into an interior surface. Or this outer texture could create an experience all its own.
