The first thing that caught my eye about the Patrick Cox Store by Sinato, was the shapes and colors that the store used. I know the most contemporary design styles for stores is glossy neutral colors. The glowing, glossy white and gray surfaces make this stores for extremely cold. Like ice. I am wondering why he decided to use the cylindrical shapes for the display areas. Each upper cylinder corresponds with a lower cylinder. Also, the upper cylinders contain most of the stores light, so it creats a glow right at eye level, which I suppose is a good technique to keep it the brightest at the place where people will be seeing.Tuesday, October 6, 2009
